During the Green Business Challenge (14th of November-19th of November) Right after the Global Entrepreneurship Week in November 2021, 20 young professionals (students and starters) from all over Europe will work on important cases. The cases are based on one of the following themes: circular economy, biobased and circular product design, biocomposites, green chemistry, and climate change.
The main theme: business models for a green economy.
The challenges allow for interesting international connections between young professionals, businesses, and the Ems Dollard Region. The main goal is to create an impact event, boost the green economy, and facilitate new collaborations and a special experience for both participants and stakeholders
Program
During the Green Business Challenge the teams will put their knowledge, skills and valour to the test. In 5 days, filled with workshops, client visits, new encounters, hard work ánd plenty of fun, they will come up with smart business models to help create a greener future. The teams will work together in different locations in the North of the Netherlands. Traveling, sleeping ánd eating sustainably all the while.
They are constantly supported by experienced business developers and coaches ánd will get an array of workshops and intensive courses to give them all the tools they need to come up with an airtight business plan. On the last day of the Green Business Challenge, outcomes and advice will be presented to the clients during an energetic closing event.
The Green Business Challenge not only gives young adults an amazing international experience and creates chances for companies to connect with and recruit high potentials. It also brings together various organizations in their quest to create a greener future.
