The ongoing developments on the North Sea are crucial for the EU energy transition. Appealing new initiatives leading to politics, business and knowledge institutes to join forces are of major importance in a time where North Sea developments enter a new stage. The North Sea area will develop unique possibilities in the upcoming years.
This Masterclass is a special spin-off from the official symposium ‘Wind-meets-Gas’, a yearly event for energy professionals about the latest developments concerning the North Sea area. Students from the Hanze UAS and University of Groningen are welcome to this special interdisciplinary Masterclass to discover the ins and outs about offshore wind energy, gas, hydrogen, etc.
During the masterclass we will share our knowledge about the North Sea, we will divide you into groups to work on several specific cases about the North Sea. You are able to consult some of the energy experts from New Energy Coalition to help you with your case and at the end of the day, you will present your case to a jury of energy professionals!
The winning team will be invited to present its findings during the official symposium in October, the winners also receive a nice gift. And last but not least, all the participants of this Masterclass will be invited to join the official symposium ‘Wind-Meets-Gas’ and the dinner (normal price € 200,-).
