The Groningen Engineering Center (GEC) offers a unique platform for interdisciplinary engineering research and education, gathering scientists who bridge fundamental sciences and applications in a comprehensive environment. Through interdisciplinary research that integrates process and product development and fruitful collaborations between researchers and industry, we produce innovation in fields such as energy, materials and health. We aim to train tomorrow’s engineering professionals, be in the lead of cutting-edge, interdisciplinary engineering research and spearhead innovation at national and European level.
