The international UN knowledge center for climate adaptation will be housed in Groningen and Rotterdam! The two cities have won the UN Global Center of Excellence on Climate Adaptation (GCECA) by putting together the most convincing bid, according to State Secretary Sharon Dijksma in a statement on Thursday 21 September.
