Chemport Europe, in collaboration with Unknown Group and the challenge's key stakeholders, is opening up opportunities in the Northern Netherlands for global innovators to test and scale solutions. Through stakeholders in the local business community, educational institutions and government, they solve industry challenges and innovate industrial processes. Sustainability Industry Challenge 2023 aims to reshape the economy by widely promoting cooperation, circularity, and green growth projects with the help of these stakeholders.

The aim of this challenge is to enhance the sustainable production and usage of every-day products made in the Northern Netherlands by reclaiming side streams, repurposing raw materials and preparing the grid for an increased supply and demand of renewable energy.

Opportunities for start-ups and scale-ups

Startups and scale-ups in green chemistry, energy, process manufacturing, waste management and recycling who are participating in the challenges get a chance to collaborate, gain funding, and go-to-market opportunities, by driving the transition to a sustainable future.
