Whether it’s the much needed energy transition, creating a circular economy, waste sorting or healthy ageing, there are plenty of issues to tackle in Groningen. Startup in Residence is a 6 month program where startups get intensive coaching and training, and the City will act as launching customer for the most promising solutions. About Startup in Residence
Selected startups will get 6 months of intensive training along with guidance from professional coaches, to master all the ins and outs of entrepreneurship and help you to turn their idea into a prototype. You will have access to both the municipal and provincial governments’ networks and resources and all partners, and when their awesome idea is shaped into a working and successful solution, the challenge owners will act as launching customer and help get the product market ready.

The closing date for submissions is October 7, 2019 at 11:59 (noon). After a preliminary selection round, you will be notified if you're selected to pitch (Oct 11) . We will announce the final startup selection on December 11 and the program will officially kick off on December 13.
