How do you experience and value Zernike campus space? What’s your dream for Zernike’s future? That is the them of research after  the future of Zernike Campus in a project called “Smart Campus Zernike”. Project partners are the University of Groningen, Regio Groningen-Assen (co-finance), VRX, RIO Project and Campus Groningen. In this project we want to introduce innovative solutions for the future development of the campus using VR solutions and focusing on four core theme’s: social interaction, sustainability, health and mobility. We want to explore these theme’s in a socially responsible way and importantly with the involvement of you – the (everyday) users of the campus space.

This link leads to a short, interactive Maptionnaire questionnaire (5-10 minutes). With the help of this questionnaire, you can indicate on the map, by uploading photos and in writing, what you already like on campus and where you see potential for improvement in relation to the above topics. Furthermore, we encourage you to take and upload pictures of areas on the campus, which you find engaging or challenging, to give us some more detailed feedback. Only with your creative input can the Zernike Campus can become truly smart – more connected, accessible, healthy and sustainable.

Outcomes

The outcomes of the Maptionnaire survey will be presented as a VR-experience, advice report and during events such as Let’s Gro and the open days of the UG. All data will be treated confidentially and used anonymously and only for the purpose of this project.
