The Pilot Factory will be a place whre young talent, entrepreneurs, educational institutes and innovations come together. Campus Groningen and the Pezy Group want to encourage the collaborations between knowledge institutes and the business community and to support them in an enviroment whre co-creation emerges. In this respect, the Pilot Factory ties up well with the existing shared facilities in pharma, chemistry and bio technology on Campus Groningen, such as Innolab Chemie.
The building will have three main functions with a communal space for interaction between its users. It is scalable, has an innovative character and will include amongst other things:
- teaching facilities and project rooms for knowledge institutes
- accomodation for startups and similar companies
- test labs
- production facilities
- proto facilities
- meeting rooms
- accomodation for Pezy Group
