The Hanze University of Applied Sciences presents a new online platform on March 29, with which entrepreneurs in the food sector can achieve product innovation. On the platform there are a number of tools to involve consumers more in the development of new products. The Proof of the Pudding is the name of the online 'cook book' for entrepreneurs with recepies for smart research.
Research with twelve food companies
The platform is the result of a two year research project of the Hanze University together with twelve food companies, such as Maallust, Hooghoudt, Marne Mosterd (mustard), Borgesius and Bakkerij (bakery) Kamstra. At these companies, several methods have been tested with the help of students of the Institute of Marketing Management of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. The most usable methods have been collected and made available with examples. The companies that took part in the project are very positive, because they can use the cook book themselves. Bert Pathuis of Maallust: 'This yields a completely different payoff than other projects. We can use this ourselves. It is a tremendous help with our product development.'
A symposium on March 29 on the cook book is open to all entrepreneurs. Please find more information on this event here.
