Testing ground BuildinG on Zernike Campus Groningen has a new resident! On a quiet monday morning, the Heijmans ONE, a portable house for one person, has arrived by lorry.

Connection

This movable house makes an intelligent connection between two questions: the shortage of good, temporary houses and the sad atmosphere at empty (building) sites. The ONE has been located at BuildinG as a novelty, and will be used as a base for Heijmans for a.o. talks with potential buyers of these houses. Students of the knowledge institutions (UG and Hanze University) can also use the ONE as study or research space.
