Companies in the province of Groningen can now apply for a grant from the programm BioBridge, via the Groninger Ondernemersregeling, developed by the Carbohydrate Competence Center (CCC) and the University of Groningen (UG). The aim of the programm is to stimulate innovations in the small and medium business in the field of biobased economy, where organic material (biomass) serves as source for the production process.
The entrepreneur can choose from four options, that vary in costs between 850 to 8320 euros.

The research will be conducted by students of the UG faculty Science and Engineering, and if possible by students of the Hanze University.
