The Hanze University of Applied Sciences opens a new location on Zernike Campus Groningen in September 2018, to accommodate the large increase in the amount of IT students. The Hanze University will take over the former NHL building at Zernikepark 10, thereby creating extra space and facilities for students and the business community. A great development for the cooperation between business and knowledge on Campus Groningen!
20% more students
The Hanze University experiences an increase in student population: the past two years the numbers went up by 20%. This increase is the cause to build and to take over, in this case, an existing building. The Digital Society Hub will reside in the former NHL building. Besides extra square meters for students, the building also provides for the need for room for business contacts working on multidisciplinary projects.
