The Groningen startup Mr. Chadd competes this year for the title 'Best Young Enterprise in the Netherlands' and a prize of € 15,000. The company, which connects high school students and university coaches through an app to solve homework problems together, is one of the twelve semi-finalists of the Young Business Award 2018.
Halve finales Young Business Award 2018
Together with 11 other startups from all over the Netherlands, Mr. Chadd is now nominated for the Young Business Award 2018. The two semi-finals take place in Groningen (March 27) and Leeuwarden (April 17). These are the six semi-finalists of the Young Business Award in Groningen: Hotelchamp, Mr. Chadd, My Data Factory, Storro, Tilledmedia and We4Sea.
Six (of the twelve) semi-finalists will take action at the YBA Groningen. Each semi-finalist only has 60 seconds to convince everyone of his or her startup. After that, the jury, led by Top Dutch campaign manager Gerard de Boer, takes over the control for eight minutes. Only two startups return home with a YBA final ticket in their pocket. This gives access during the closing event on June 28 in Emmen for 800+ visitors to pitch for 15,000 euros and the title: 'Best Young Enterprise of the Netherlands'.
