Young entrepreneur Marc Tuinier of NUWA Innovation within the Campus Groningen ecosystem has won the Young Entrepreneurs Award (JOP) 2023 – congratulations! This was announced on Thursday evening, November 23, during the final show with guest speaker Sander Schimmelpenninck at Post Plaza Grand Café in Leeuwarden.

Every year, young entrepreneurs from Friesland, Groningen, and Drenthe compete for this coveted award. The award comes with additional prizes, such as an exclusive masterclass worth €4,000, advisory sessions from Flinc, membership in JNO, an advertising page from Mediahuis, and of course, everlasting fame.

Proud and appreciated

Aside from this year's winner, Hilco Boerlage of Memory Lab (Groningen) and Nick van den Pol of Het Ambacht Ruinerwold (Drenthe) were also contenders for the title. The jury, consisting of business professionals, selected the winner based on the video pitch, SharkTank, scans conducted by Deloitte, and company visits. Marc Tuinier: 'It's not just about our internal pride in the work we do, but also about the external appreciation we receive #grateful.'
