The summer holidays have started, but on the Zernike Campus, the students of Built Environment Hanze are still working the circular Showcase at Building and Entrance. The 'showcase' building is not just a design: it will be a self-sufficient and circularly built pavilion. The entire accommodation will be constructed from materials that come from a 'donor building', a building to be demolished elsewhere on the Campus. Moreover, the pavilion will be built in such a way that future innovations, for example in the field of energy transition or sustainable (building) materials, can also be accommodated there. There will also be space in the pavilion for exhibitions, among other things. The Minerva Academy will kick off with an exhibition and will also take care of the branding of the building together with the partners. The showcase is expected to be completed this fall.
