Together with nine other Dutch campuses, Campus Groningen asks 100 million from the national government. To grow and to develop further.
he national government must make a structural contribution to the (further) development of the campuses and science parks. These physical innovation ecosystems function as a facilitator and accelerator of regional and (inter) national partnerships between knowledge institutions and companies. Campuses are indispensable for a successful innovation policy. That is what the directors of the ten largest national campuses write in the 'Manifest Toplocaties'. "We are essential for innovation in the Netherlands, but this important physical component falls under current government policy between two stools," said Bert Kip, chairman of the National Campuses Consultation. In the Manifest, the ten campuses advocate joint government facilitation in 5 areas: shared facilities, accessibility, business development, acquisition and basic financing for campus organizations.
We are very lucky to be on Campus Groningen. With all the help and dedication to let the campus grow and to let its residents flourish, is of great value to our startup
