SBP Graduation congress

Wed, 3 July 2019 t/m Fri, 5 July 2019

The SBP Graduation Congress will take place from Wednesday 3 to Friday 5 July 2019. A congress organized by students from the University of Groningen intended for both first and second-year master's students, in particular the MSc Biomedical Sciences. The highly popular Science, Business & Policy (SBP) track is a major part of our master's programs, which introduces students to the academic, business and policy aspects of our field.

For whom?

From 3-5 July 2019 GLV Idun is organizing, in cooperation with the study program, a three-day congress for both first- and (graduating) second-year Master's students in SBP. For second-year students this congress is the official conclusion of their master's program, for first-year students the ideal opportunity to get to know important players in the labor market. To facilitate this optimally, a business market will take place on the second day of the congress, where graduates can orient themselves for vacancies and first-year students at a suitable internship for their upcoming study phase. To conclude, a networking drink will take place, where both students and representatives of the participating companies are more than welcome to discuss further opportunities and possibilities.

Career market

In short: the congress offers the opportunity to talk to around 90 master's students who are actively looking for a workplace or interesting internship. In addition, the event is open to members of GLV Idun, which directly contributes to the brand awareness of participating companies. The career market and networking drink will take place in the afternoon. Costs associated with participation amount to € 150. This includes participation in the market, networking drinks and placement of logo in the program booklet that all participants receive, as well as placement of logo on the promotional materials.
