About the Awards

The Anner Award pays homage to a true student entrepreneur Anner van der Mheen. His passion for business and networking will be infused, also in this year’s special
collaboration.
The Rabo Entrepreneurship Award is an initiative for student entrepreneurs from the Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the University of Groningen that support and help their
businesses to grow.

Entrepreneurship at Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the University of Groningen

The Marian van Os Centre of Expertise Entrepreneurship from the Hanze and the University of Groningen of Entrepreneurship (RUG) contribute to the economic development of the northern region of the Netherlands through their entrepreneurial programs. They invest in the
professionals of the future by stimulating an entrepreneurial attitude and innovative thinking in students. In addition, students and entrepreneurs with a promising entrepreneurial idea are supported in developing, starting and growing their business. That is also the reason Hanze started a student platform called BusinessMatch Groningen. Together we work on the employment of tomorrow.
