On the Zernike Campus in Groningen, something extraordinary is taking place. Amid modern buildings and bustling students, a green initiative is emerging that goes beyond the trend of sustainable business—it’s becoming a living laboratory for biodiversity and food production. This project, the second Koploperbos in Groningen, is the result of a unique collaboration between the Koploperbos Foundation, Rabobank, and Hanze University of Applied Sciences. Together, they are creating a space where nature and science work hand in hand. The forest's official opening will take place on December 6, 2024.
