On Tuesday afternoon 4 September the opening of the new academic year 2018-2019 will take place. Guest speaker will be the Dutch Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, ir. Eric Wiebes MBA. The event will begin at 3:45 pm in the Atrium of the Van OlstToren at Zernikeplein 7. Afterwards there is a toast on the new academic year.

The Hannie Schaft Award is a prize for the most excellent piece of work by a student or group of students in the field of social involvement.
The prize is awarded by Koen Schuiling, Mayor of Den Helder and chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hanze UAS.
