The start of a new academic year at Hanze University of Applied Sciences centers around curiosity and an investigative mindset—both essential for tackling the challenges of today and tomorrow. How do we bring these values into our education? And what is the added value of connecting education and research? These are the questions we’ll explore during the official opening of the academic year.
Our guest speaker is Jan Bransen, Professor of Philosophy of the Behavioral Sciences at Radboud University and Academic Director of the Radboud Teaching and Learning Centre. He will share his vision on education and the importance of fostering curiosity and a questioning attitude in today’s complex world.
We will close the afternoon with the presentation of the Henk Pijlman Innovation Award, awarded to students who have researched and implemented the most effective and innovative solutions for the professional field.
