The first solar field of the UG has been build on the north side of the Zernike Campus. 1700 solar panels have been placed, the energy they generate is used to power KVI-Center for Advanced Radiation Technology.
Solstice
To open the solar field the UG invites you to the sunrise of the shortest day: December 21st. At the opening the name of the solar field will be revealed.
