This year's Opening of the Academic Year of the University of Groningen will take place on Monday, 5 September 2022, from 4- 5 p.m, in the Martini Church in Groningen.
Both our society and our academic community are experiencing turbulent times. While we are facing all kinds of challenges, there are still many means for students and staff members in order to cope with adversity: means that help us move forward and focus on the future. Fittingly, the theme of the UG Opening of the Academic Year 2022 is ‘Resilience’.
