CHAINS goes online, but that does not mean that you have to do without the CHAINS social programme! Join the event on Tuesday evening 8 December 20:00 hrs for the legendary CHAINS pubquiz co-hosted by KNCV or the Lorentz Center Workshop ‘Creating Chemistry’.
In this workshop the organisation 'create chemistry': they let participants experience how to bring scientists together in an interactive way, with the aim of making scientific progress and paving the way for new collaborations. In various sub sessions we show how to set up an effective program, how to stimulate discussion and how to bring scientists from different fields together.

Online programma
Een stimulerend programma toont de beste en meest recente ontwikkelingen in de Nederlandse chemie. Door de mogelijkheden voor interactie en wetenschappelijke uitwisseling te maximaliseren, verwacht de organisatie de chemische gemeenschap te blijven verbinden, inclusief junior en senior wetenschappers uit de academische wereld en de industrie.
Ze zijn nu bezig de mogelijkheden te onderzoeken om de deelnemers een spannend en uitnodigend online programma te bieden. Dit betekent dat we ook moeten nadenken over een ander programma voor de digitale CHAINS-beleving. Bijvoorbeeld: hoewel CHAINS nog steeds twee dagen duurt, mag je verwachten dat het programma korter is dan normaal. De organisatie wil niet dat je de hele dag achter een scherm zit, daarom nemen ze voldoende pauzes op in het digitale programma. Ze denken ook na over een sociaal programmaonderdeel waaraan je optioneel mee kunt doen.
