On Tuesday, June 24th, the NoorderRuimte Knowledge Centre will present the harvest of the past semester. Lecturers, teacher-researchers, junior staff (students from various programs), PhD candidates, and professional field partners will present their research findings that afternoon.
What new knowledge has been developed over the past six months, and what research has been conducted at NoorderRuimte? What impact do these studies have on the built environment and on the residents of the Northern Netherlands?
Program
In a series of sessions around NoorderRuimte’s core themes—Earthquakes, Sustainability, Health & Wellbeing, and Liveability—you’ll see and hear about the latest insights. You choose which sessions you want to attend.
Two weeks beforehand, you will receive the detailed programme, and upon arrival, you’ll get a flyer with information about the thematic sessions. We’ll start at 12:15 PM with a joint lunch, followed by a variety of knowledge-sharing sessions, poster presentations, roundtable discussions, networking rounds, debates, and more. From PhD research to student projects—there’s plenty to discover and discuss. And yes, we’ve thought about the fun factor too!
At 4:00 PM we’ll wrap up the symposium together with a drink.
