During the masterclass, you will cover the following topics:
- How to make your job vacancies visible to more than 20,000 internationals in the Northern Netherlands and where you can meet them face-to-face.
- Hear experiences from other companies in recruiting internationals.
- Key considerations for profiling your company as "international friendly."
- Criteria and requirements for employers when hiring non-EU or non-EEA citizens.
- Different types of work permits for non-EU and non-EEA citizens.
- Available support and subsidies for companies starting to hire internationals.
- How to welcome your new international employees.
Make it in the North is a non-profit career platform focused on international talent in the Northern Netherlands. We target English-speaking job seekers who do not (yet) speak Dutch, and gather companies and vacancies open to this demographic on our platform. International Welcome Center North (IWCN) is a welcome and support center assisting international residents and employers in Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe with settling, working, and integrating through information sessions, personal consultations, and events.
