In Northern Netherlands, significant efforts are being made to create a network of campuses where education (vocational, applied sciences, and universities), entrepreneurs, and researchers come together to collaborate. This network, strengthened by a concrete Masterplan Campuses, forms the core of a growing knowledge and innovation ecosystem that contributes to regional economic development and broad prosperity.

During this presentation at the Let’s Gro festival, various speakers will discuss the value and importance of the campuses in the North. Special attention will be given to the campuses in the city of Groningen and their role within the broader network. The Masterplan, developed by governments, businesses, and educational institutions, aims to enhance regional collaboration on key themes such as energy, health, and digitalization. This plan lays a solid foundation for economic growth and a high-quality living environment in Groningen and Northern Drenthe.
