The theme of this year's Knowledge Congress by BuildinG is 'Vision for Groningen.' Naturally, they will address the earthquake file and the latest developments and recommendations that impact the approach. In addition to focusing on knowledge and innovations related to reinforcement and damage repair, there is also room for current themes such as sustainability, circular construction, and climate-adaptive building. We are looking towards the future and the opportunities to offer Groningen a sustainable 'Vision.' The congress is intended for the network of residents and professionals from the region to acquire knowledge and exchange experiences. You can choose from a diverse range of substantive workshop sessions and engage in debates with executives, experts, and each other.

Susan Top (Deputy of the Province of Groningen)
On September 28th, during our knowledge congress, there will also be a parliamentary debate in The Hague regarding the gas extraction issue in Groningen. Understandably, Susan Top will be present at the parliamentary debate due to her role. Therefore, for the plenary part of the knowledge congress, Johan Koopmans, Executive Director of the Province of Groningen, will participate in her place. He is responsible for the gas extraction dossier and has been involved for many years.
