In the North, we have a wealth of international talent that is certainly interested in the tight Northern IT job market. However, it's not always easy for potential employees and employers to find each other effectively. Internationals often aren't familiar with regional organizations or may not yet have full proficiency in the Dutch language. Organizational cultures are not always accustomed to colleagues from non-Dutch backgrounds and may not recognize examples of successful collaborations with internationals. As a result, opportunities are not fully recognized or utilized.
It all starts with getting to know each other and removing potential barriers. In this digital lunch session by Samenwerking Noord, three successful initiatives will be highlighted that help bridge this gap.
