The former Niemeyer factory will open its doors on Saturday, September 21. During Demolition Day, the public is welcome to witness the transformation of the building. On this day, you'll learn more about the plans for the iconic building on Paterswoldseweg.
Up until a few years ago, tobacco was still being produced at the Niemeyer factory, but last month it was announced that this will become the new hotspot of Groningen. The ambition of MWPO and Campus Groningen is to turn the Niemeyer factory into a vibrant destination with a mix of business, culture, and experiences. It is envisioned as a place where people will want to visit, work, exercise, and where there is room for culture, art, events, and inspiration. Stay updated at www.niemeyernieuws.nl.
