There will be a second Climate Summit Northern Netherlands. This will take place on 31 October in the Oude Suikerfabriek in Goningen. Diederik Samson will be among the key note speakers. The aim is to take a next step forward in the energy transition.
Initiative
The Climate Summit Northern Netherlands is an initiative of the three northern provinces and the New Energy Coalition. The 'Klimaattop' brings together representatives of governments, companies, social organizations and science to come up with more - joint action. Themes that are dealt with: smartly sustainable production, smart energy in the built environment, smart energy in industry and more. The first Summit took place in 2017 on Zernike Campus Groningen, with 1200 participants and visitors.
