About the HESI Lab

For companies developing equipment or software for flexible energy systems, such as heat pumps or home batteries, validating their innovations often requires a significant amount of time, effort, and money. To address this, TNO has established the HESI (Hybrid Energy System Integration) laboratories, specifically designed for entrepreneurs. Here, independently developed devices, components, or software can undergo testing. The tests are conducted under realistic and controlled conditions, allowing for the examination of integration with other components as well.
