Members of the WEST Business Association (Bedrijvenvereniging WEST) and interested parties are welcome to attend a special Lunch Meeting on Monday, October 2nd, dedicated to the long-term plans of the Zernike Campus. During the meeting, which will take place from noon until two in the afternoon, there will also be a discussion about the plans of the municipality of Groningen regarding temporary student housing. Student Housing
In November 2022, a meeting was held to discuss the municipality of Groningen's plans to create 401 temporary housing units for students on the Zernike Campus in 2023. Following this, additional meetings were held, one-on-one discussions took place with some entrepreneurs, and there were discussions with the project leader from the municipality of Groningen by a core group (Annelies Wolters, Lars de Groot, Annet de Vree, Dirk Messchemaker, Tim Graafsma, Klaas Holtman).
