Visiting one of the Bachelor's Open Days of the University of Groningen on Friday the 8th of November is a great way to find out more about the opportunities, challenges and rewards of academic and social life at the University of Groningen.
What to expect?
Open Days are your chance to discover more about undergraduate and postgraduate studies first-hand. It’s your chance to ask all your burning questions and find out everything you’d like to know about the University of Groningen. You’ll also meet students and staff, and can visit faculties, check out our facilities and get a general feeling for life at the UG. #OpenDayUG
Attend a subject presentation to get a better idea about what you will be taught, what will be expected of you, but also the opportunities that await you at the UG. The presentations are held in the faculty buildings – there are four time slots during the day on a Friday and three on a Saturday - leaving you plenty of time to have a chat, grab some lunch and find your way to the next one. Some talks (in German and English) are more focused on international students, with extra information about admissions and housing.
Make sure to stop by one or more of the information stands in-between presentations. Here, you can chat face-to-face with someone from your faculty or find out all about the university’s social activities.
Get an insider view of the city by taking part in one of the free city tours guided by one of our Student Ambassadors. Download our Bachelor's Open Day information package for further details.
