The presentation of the Third GDBC Thesis Award Digital Business is scheduled for December 6. A follow-up to the existing Aart Bosman Prize that has been awarded to young researchers in the field of Information Systems for some time. The GDBC, in collaboration with the Ubbo Emmius Fund and the Jantina Tammes School of the University of Groningen has revived the initiative and renamed it the more appropriate Digital Business award, which is now being presented for the third time.
Fourteen submitted papers (from 2022), all related to digital business in the broadest sense of the word, have been assessed in advance by the jury (consisting of business and University of Groningen representatives).
Programma and nominees
Three young students have been selected to present their thesis topics and results this Wednesday, December 6, in Martiniplaza. After these three presentations, the jury will decide who will receive 500 euros (3rd prize), 1000 euros (2nd prize) and 2000 euros (1st prize) respectively. During the time that the jury is deliberating, Gert Jan Mellema, will present about digital business in general and his company in particular.
