Blaauw "Sterrenwacht" on the Zernike Campus Groningen of the University of Groningen is open 23 and 24 February for the 42 th National Observation Days.
These are managed annually by the Royal Dutch Society for Weather and Astronomy (KNVWS). The weather forecasts are favorable and expect clear evenings. There are guided tours in the "Sterrenwacht", lectures by astronomers from the Kapteyn Institute and an exhibition of Science LinX.
In the inflatable planetarium, visitors make a virtual journey through the universe. For children there are DIY and craft activities of SRON space institute and an animation of Woezel & Pip.
The evenings last from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Admission is free, registration is recommended.
