Partial closing of the southern Ringway during May 9-14

Starting Wednesday evening of May 9, 22.00 hour until Monday morning May 14, 06.00 hour, the builder Combinatie Heerepoort works on and around the southern ringway (N7), around the crossing with the railway at the Esperanto street. The northern lane will be closed off for all kinds of traffic starting at Euvelgunne until the Hereweg in the direction of Drachten. The southern lane in the direction of Hoogezand will remain open with two small lanes.

The new Helperzoom tunnel will also be put in place. During this period, there will be no trains between Groningen-Hoogeveen, Groningen-Winschoten, Groningen-Veendam and the other way around. The constructions on road and railway are done at the same time to restrict delays and hinderance to this one period.
