Landmark
Here on Campus Groningen it all starts, together we work on solutions for the future world. To show this dynamic on the campus, a landmakr has been designed commissioned by (partners of) Campus Groningen and Bedrijvenvereniging WEST. This landmark (artwork), that will be placed in the summer of 2021 at the north entrance of Zernike Campus Groningen, marks an innovative and dynamic Campus. For the design and construction, the company 3DXL has been challenged to showcase the story and the elements of Campus Groningen in an entrance marker.
Material and surroundings
The design has taken traffic safety into account and the trees that stand in the central reservation. A monument expert has also been consulted. The artwork will be made of corten steel.
Locatie en planning
Het landmark wordt in de middenberm van de Prof. Uilkensweg geplaatst. Dit zal in de zomer van 2021 plaatsvinden.
